Second Project for Flowersoft Blog Hop!

Ta da….here’s my second project for the Blog Hop this month!  I decided to try a card.  I’m not really a card person.  I find cards the most difficult to make.  I don’t know why.  I’m sure they are quite simple for most of you, but I just don’t have the “knack” for them.  I have trouble coming up with designs for cards.  Anyway, I do like the way this one turned out.

I used one of the shoe stamps from the Fabulous Shoes – Collection 1 set.  You can find others sets from the collection on the Flowersoft website.

I then glued some tiny lace trim to shoe.  I used Glossy Accents to glue it, and I ruffled it as I went along.  It took about an hour or so to do, but I think it looks great!  I also added some bling and flat back pearls from Miriam’s Crafting Supplies.  I colored the shoe using my Distress Markers.

I hope you like this card….would love to hear your comments!  And maybe some tips on making cards, too. I would love to hear how you decide to design a card.  Do you use something like Card Maps (similar to Page Maps for layouts)?
Be sure to collect the “secret” words from each of us to win a fabulous prize from Flowersoft!  My secret word is:

touches

Once you have all the “secret” words from the rest of the ladies on the blog hop, unscramble and email the entire phrase to Angela Holt at thealteredpage@yahoo.com with Flower Soft Blog Hop in the subject line.
